2013 Raving Beauty

2013 Raving Beauty

I first heard the siren song of French wines while living in the village of Saint-Germain-en-Laye.  On our many visits to France’s most famous appellations, we experienced the wines of Pauillac and Margaux in all their full-bodied elegance. Lunching along the Dordogne with a glass of local wine and some fois gras spread on crusty bread is a memory I’ll never truly forget. It’s been a love affair ever since. This Cabernet Sauvignon is an expression of my life in France and of the wines that I love. I call it “Raving Beauty” to remind me of the allure and charm that I experienced there. Vive la France and à votre santé!

Wine Profile

Tasting Notes
Mesmerizing notes of Bing cherry, bramble, and light chocolate on the nose that give way to a beautiful structure mid-palate. The finish is pure elegance.

Food Pairing Notes
My favorite pairing right now is roasted duck with a red wine, cherry, and rosemary reduction. Oh mama...
