2013 The Monet

2013 The Monet

I drank my first glass of Blanc de Blanc in Giverny one warm August evening. We were visiting Mone's famous residence there and couldn't quite believe the splendor and beauty. Sitting amid the willows, the lily pond, and the Japanese bridge, it felt like the dream of living inside a painting. I've loved wine and art ever since. Our Monet is delicate and expressive. Drink it year round, with any type of food, for any occasion, or for no reason at all.

Wine Profile

Tasting Notes

This is made with 100% estate-grown Chardonnay. It is produced Méthode Champenoise which is the classic French way. With refined bubbles, you'll taste very subtle tropical notes that give way to soft citrus mid palate. You'll love the elegant finish.

Food Pairing Notes

I love to drink this one with raw oysters or seared scallops served with grilled asparagus. Another favorite pairing is with roasted duck with a raspberry, rhubarb, and balsamic reduction.
